1. Open Outlook
2. Click File – Account Settings – Account Settings – New
3. Select Email Account
4. Choose Manual Setup
5. Choose POP or IMAP
6. Enter Lloydmail account information
- Incoming Server – mail.lloydmail.ca
- Outgoing Server – mail.lloydmail.ca
7. Select More Settings
8. Click Outgoing Server tab
9. Check requires authentication box
- Select same settings as incoming mail server
10. Click Advanced tab
- Incoming server port – 110
- Outgoing server port 26
11. Check leave a copy of messages on the server box
- Set remove from server to 14 days
12. Click OK
13. Choose Next
14. If send/receive test fail, go back and confirm settings
Alternate Sending option
If sending does not work for one reason or another, you may change your outgoing settings to match your internet service provider’s.
